Lost 60 pounds in 1 year!

Brian arrived already engaging in exercising, but wanting to optimize his health and fitness after recovering from a knee injury. We started by tracking his daily protein and caloric intake, shifting his focus to more home-cooked and whole-food based meals, and altering his daily caloric goals based on his exercise each day. 

​

Within 8 months Brian lost 43 pounds while maintaining his muscle mass. His program fluctuates between hiking or trail running, traditional weight training, martial arts, and HIIT. After a year he'd dropped 60 pounds, and has been successfully maintaining since then.  

​

Today Brian still receives health coaching to stay on track and excited about his fitness, and his life is very different than it was at the start of his journey in 2022. Since his weight-loss transformation Brian and his wife purchased their first home and started a family by welcoming their son, Andy into the world. One of Brian’s motivations through his fitness journey has been to be a better role model for his son, and now that they’re on the hiking trails of Northern Arizona together, he says that he feels on track.

Toni

Lost 25 lbs of body fat & built 10 lbs of lean muscle!

Toni and Coach Brandon have been working together for almost a year, and in that time Toni has gone from feeling lost and confused about her fitness, to feeling confident and strong! Toni has received both fitness training and health coaching with Coach Brandon and now she says that she feels like a different person than she was before she began health coaching. 

 

One of Toni’s goals when she started her first health coaching meeting was to lose fat and improve her strength so that she could play with her grandchildren with fewer limitations and more energy. Within three months Toni had lost 15 pounds while significantly improving her muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance! 

 

At the beginning of her fitness journey Toni struggled with many of the exercises she was trying to perform, but now she enthusiastically attends group fitness classes multiple times a week, and works out at home with a TRX, bodyweight exercises, and custom-tailored workouts designed by Acacia Fruit Wellness. She does all of her at-home workouts while her granddaughter is napping and says that she feels better now that she’s more active and health-conscious than she was just a year ago.

Jack

Lost 100 pounds in 16 months!

Jack started his weightless journey on his own, and proved that he was committed to improving his health and fitness even before starting health coaching with Acacia Fruit Wellness. Then, in the spring of 2022 he began fitness training and health coaching on a weekly basis and started to see even better results. Jack lost more than 80 pounds in his first 6 months working with Coach Brandon and is still making consistent progress towards his goals of losing fat, gaining strength, and improving his cardiovascular endurance. This summer he celebrated crossing 100 pounds of weight loss from the start of his journey!

 

Jack comes from a family of long-distance runners and outdoor enthusiasts, and through the help he’s received from health coaching with Coach Brandon, Jack’s been able to readily join the family on Colorado peak climbing and Grand Canyon hiking this year.

​

Now Jack looks and feels different than before he started his weight loss journey. He works out almost daily (and enjoys it!), recently became a certified SCUBA instructor, and is currently training for run long-distance races with his dad in the coming year. He’s also excited to be pursuing a personal training certification of his own so he can help inspire and train others through the things he’s learned along the way.

Robert

Lost 14 pounds in 9 weeks, while BUILDING muscle!

Robert arrived with high motivation and a history of exercise engagement, but in need of guidance on diet and nutrition. Together we created a high-volume exercise program primarily consisting of High Intensity Interval Training and a nutritional program based loosely on the fundamentals of the Paleo Diet, which included foods that Robert enjoyed like steak and nuts, but also optimized periods of ketosis where he could steadily burn fat for energy. ​

​

We also used food tracking to monitor his protein intake, and weekly health coaching sessions to stay on track and keep adequate calorie intake and rest in place to increase his output on the weight room floor. 

​

Over a year later Robert continues regular exercise; he maintains a more healthful body weight, and his diet consists of more whole-food based meals to maintain his fitness.
